Research Computing Facilitator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brad\u00a0joined FAS Research Computing in March 2023.<\/p>\n

Brad earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Valparaiso University in 1997. He
\nobtained his S.M. in Physical Sciences from the University of Chicago.<\/p>\n

Brad began his career in Research Computing as a Research Programmer on the ICEBERG project at Stony Brook University, developing cyberinfrastructure for high performance computing for the large-scale automation and analysis of high-resolution satellite imagery for studies of biological, geological, or hydrological processes in polar regions. He then served as a Research Computing Facilitator at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to Stony Brook, he was on the Science Operations Team of the Chandra X-ray Observatory at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics for 16 years.<\/p>\n

Outside of FASRC, Brad enjoys travel, home improvements, aviation, and family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
